Williams, Thomas Scott (1812-1874)

Thomas Scott Williams (February 26, 1812 - December 29, 1874) was a civil engineer and the Superintendent of the Boston and Maine Railroad.

Williams was born on February 26, 1812 in Bozrah, Connecticut, as the son of Solomon Williams and Martha Baker. He grew up there and was by profession a civil engineer. He assisted in the survey of the Boston and Albany Railroad and Boston City Water Works, and was for several years Superintendent of the Boston and Maine Railroad. Afterwards, he was engaged in business in Boston, Massachusetts, as a dealer in railroad supplies and finally settled in Auburndale, Massachusetts.

Williams died on December 29, 1874 in Auburndale, Massachusetts.
