Samuel Newton (October 20, 1646 - 1708) was a state representative of Milford, Connecticut.

Newton was born on October 20, 1646 in Hartford, Connecticut, as the son of Roger Newton and Mary Hooker. After his marriage in 1669, he removed to Milford, Connecticut, where he lived for many years. He was elected representative for Milford in the General Court at Hartford many times.

In 1708, Newton died at Milford, Connecticut, at the age of 61.
