Prudence Hurlbut (June 3, 1783 - September 13, 1857) was a resident of West Hartford, Connecticut.
Hurlbut was born on June 3, 1783 in West Hartford, Connecticut, as the daughter of Lemuel Hurlbut and Tabitha Nott. She grew up in West Hartford and settled there after her marriage in 1807 to start a family. Her husband fought in the War of 1812 and returned home in the years after to become a deacon in the West Hartford Congregational Church, while she tended the home and children.
On September 13, 1857, Hurlbut died in West Hartford, Connecticut, at the age of 74.
