Noah Webster (March 25, 1722 - November 9, 1813) was a farmer and deacon in West Hartford, Connecticut, and the father of famous lexicographer, Noah Webster.

Webster was born on March 25, 1722 in Hartford, Connecticut as the son of Daniel Webster and Miriam Cook. He grew up in the region and made his living mostly as a farmer, though he was also deacon of the local Congregational Church, captain of the town's militia, and a founder of a local book society (a precursor to the public library). After American independence, he was appointed a justice of the peace. After his marriage in 1749, he built a house on the west side of South Main Street in West Hartford, a house that remains today as the Noah Webster house.

Webster died on November 9, 1813 in West Hartford, Connecticut.
