John Seymour (December 25, 1694 - July 25, 1758) was a settler of New Hartford, Connecticut.

Seymour was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on December 25, 1694 as the son of John Seymour and Elizabeth Webster. He grew up in Hartford for his childhood and settled on land that belonged to his family. He worked as a farmer there. He helped raise a family there and removed to New Hartford, Connecticut in 1750, as one of the earliest settlers of that town.

Seymour died on July 25, 1758 in New Hartford, Connecticut in Litchfield County.
