Joanna Hooker (c. 1615 - April 28, 1646) was a resident of Cambridge, Massachusetts and an early settler of colonial America.
Hooker was born around 1615 in England as the daughter of Thomas Hooker. She grew up in England and removed to New England on the ship "Griffin" in 1633 with her father. She settled in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she lived for many years. After her marriage early in 1640, she continued living in Cambridge, where she worked in the home.
On April 28, 1646, Hooker died in Cambridge.
Hooker married Thomas Shepard in 1638, in the "year after those wars in the country."
