Dorothy Pitkin (c. 1717 - August 17, 1789) was a resident of East Hartford, Connecticut.

Pitkin was born around 1717 in East Hartford, Connecticut, as the daughter of Caleb Pitkin and Dorothy Hill. She grew up there and settled there in East Hartford, Connecticut, after her marriage. Her husband had a considerabe estate and was taxed for keeping a chaise, an article of luxury and splendor in their day.

Pitkin died in East Hartford, Connecticut, on August 17, 1789 at the age of 71.
